Attars are pure fragrant oils without any spirit or alcohol. If you walk through the lanes of Bazaar Street at Fort Kochi, you will be treated to aromas of various kinds. Apart from spices, and herbs, the market is swarmed with vintage perfume bottles. With so many oils in tow, there is also a thriving market for agarbattis and fragrance sticks. The bottles are an absolutely gorgeous sight, but attars are not my preferred choice of fragrance. But I couldn’t miss this capture for anything!
