Vanity Killer

This is one of the gorgeous sculptures that grace the outer periphery of the temple at Hallebidu. Here is a statue of Bhima killing elephants from the infantry of the enemy. Although slow, elephants were known to be the strongest animals in the stable, the structure depicts a very popular Tamil phase vaaranam aaiyram, meaning the one who possess the strength of a thousand elephants, the pandava brother Bhima
