Though not a cat lover, I love the lion’s mane. Strong and majestic, a full mane is the sign of a healthy lion. Lions are known to be lazy and dominating; lionesses do all the hunting, but the alpha male gets to have the lion’s share of the booty, after which the lionesses feast of the prey they hunt. scraps are left for the cubs. Lions are listed as a vulnerable species; they are at high risk of extinction in the wild.
