Cotton-Top Tamarin

This gorgeous ‘Dad’ greeted me as I set out to explore the Singapore Zoo with my family a few years ago. Cute and curious, these cotton-top tamarins are actually listed as critically endangered (with just 6,000 of these monkeys alive), and the zoo is doing a phenomenal job in keeping the species alive. Native to the forest regions of northwestern Colombia, these monkeys usually move around tree tops as a family. To know more on how you can help save this furry friend, click here
