Harmony in the Mind!

Growing up, my mom never forced religious beliefs on us. And being Hindus studying at Convent Schools, we learnt to practice our religion and respect beliefs of another too. I remember picking up small plastic decorations for a shimmering little fake Christmas tree. In fact it was a practice to add at least one new ornament to it every year till it toppled by the sheer weight! Needless to say a new tree graced us. Then I grew up, and school became passé. Cherished memories!

I guess that is the best way to live in a liberal world Judith. We like/dislike people based on their perspectives, but that doesn’t mean we hold their beliefs against them. Not everyone is courages enough to believe in anything, however irrational that it may seem, Don’t you think?
