Weekly Photo Challenge: Sunset

The setting sun, is a sad goodbye to times well spent, journeys throughly enjoyed and a live well lived. As a photographer, it’s probably nature’s perfect pose for the camera, but in my mind’s eye, it’s a time for reminiscence. For whatever its worth, good or bad, the faces of life and love teach us a new lesson every time, give us a better perspective on things and make us better individuals. What do you think?

About the picture: I got this shot on my way back from a relaxing and reconnecting weekend getaway from Malshej Ghats near Mumbai. The place looks breath-taking in the rains, and nature graced me with a camera-friendly rain-kissed outing!

As for me, what I think is this a time to make puja to the Goddess Sarasvati, perhaps in a new creative way, maybe to begin turning your camera eye to photos of sunrises!

Then again, what do I know?

I do know I send you good wishes and thoughts and encouragement, and perhaps even (is that okay?) a virtual hug —

I return the gracious virtual hug Judith my dear (you are such a blessing for me, i don’t mind it at all!) I just pray that I don’t disappoint the goddess and come out strong from the test she has put me through!
