That’s How You Make Candy Floss!

Remember the candy floss you enjoyed in your childhood? Well, I sure do, and this was my first time to see it getting prepared right in front of me! As you can see, there is a hollow basin that spots a burner in the center. Inside the burner, sugar, butter and artificial color is added. As the burner heats up and spins, strands of candy floss juts out which is twirled around a stick. This is then packed in a sheet and sold to kids like you and me! (I am drooling already, how about you?)

We call it cotton candy, for obvious reasons.
I loved it as a kid. No more — but the shot is great, we’re Present at the Creation!
    Nifty photography.

Thanks Judith, I don’t enjoy the candy as much myself either, but like they say, curosity killed the cat, or rather curosity made this kitty shutter happy!

When I was a child, I use to fear cottons so I was taken aback when they first introduced the cotton candy; but as soon as I got a taste, loved it and I eventually lost my fears for cottons too.
