I recently enjoyed a well deserved and unexpected break to Coorg, Karnataka (OK, the break was expected, but site wasn’t). One of the places we visited was an Elephant Training Camp, in the North of Coorg, in a place called Dubare. Here, they teach elephants to carry load and work for humans. As inhuman as it sounds, the majestic creatures were a delight to watch. Every evening, some of the elephants come out for a bath, and this is them going back from the river. I heard that they have beautiful eyes, and now I know too!
