A 7 km Rafting ride awaited us at the Beas River at Manali. This was one of the most adventurous things we had ever done, we were sitting at the head of the inflated raft! The River is not the kindest of the lot, as it is just a few 1000 kms from its point of origin at the Himalaya glacier. Needless to say the water is too gusty and ice-cold. Fun times!
