Meet Bunty, a new little guy I befriended close to my office. The camera-shy dog is very soothing to the eye, to say the least. He is a homeless stray dog, but we all take turn feeding him, the people in the area take good care of him. When I came back beaming from my lunch break boasting that he posed for my camera, my colleagues were shell-shocked! Not that they didn’t like the picture; but Bunty is not so friendly with them after all! No wonder dogs choose whom to befriend, they even blush and feel shy at times.
What a sweet pup. So sad that he has no home. It is good that you all are taking care of him and you all are his home. 🙂

heart touching tribute to a street dog; we gave food to street dogs in Greece and Spain … they need us! I say this, though I am a cat owner. I’m proud, that some Indian friends copied our German lifestyle and fetched cats into their homes. I’ve heard, that is not usual?

Yup Frizztext, it is not unusual to find people adopting strays. However people like us who have the house locked for most part of the day, just borrow a part of the gratitude on the streets itself 😦

Aw, bless you and your co-workers for feeding Bunty! He looks part Border Collie, which are extremely intelligent dogs. Try teaching him to sit or fetch 😉

I wanted to have pets, but all I was allowed to have was a single red-mouli (fish, in a bottle)! But among the ones that are allowed in the house, I like lizards and spiders. They just know what to do and what not to do unlike the cockroaches!
