Meet Bunty, a new little guy I befriended close to my office. The camera-shy dog is very soothing to the eye, to say the least. He is a homeless stray dog, but we all take turn feeding him, the people in the area take good care of him. When I came back beaming from my…

Weekly Photo Challenge: Tiny 2
Well, she isn’t as tiny as she used to be, but she isn’t all grown up as of yet either. We call her Milli and she lives just where my husband works, so she helps me kill time as I wait on him. (Now, he joins me for the fun, so I love her more.)…
Weekly Photo Challenge: Wildlife 3
Our first trip as man and wife was quite successful for many reasons. And one of them was the natural bliss that I hadn’t experienced as city dweller. I captured these horses grazing at a luscious green hill-side en-route the snow-clad Rohtang pass, which opens for public only for a short duration between June to October every year.
Weekly Photo Challenge: Wildlife 2
We got to see this beautiful Himalayan Bear at the Nainital Zoo, which is one of the high altitude zoo’s in the world. I love this…

My experience with animals leads me to the conclusion that cats and cows are more camera friendly than dogs. But this picture is special. She was snacking away and was actually under the impression that I…

A Lesuirely Nap Or A Deep Slumber?
A yawn is the most natural, and purest expression on any face. Its the the sign of a productive and hard day’s efforts earned and a rest that was well deserved. I don’t really know whether she enjoyed her day, but I am sure she slept well, and had fun in her doggy dreams!
A Delightful Deer
The Swamp Deer or Barasingha is a deer species which is native to India and Nepal. Barasingha is Hindi for 12 horned, a name earned by a mature deer who has branched horns. We came across this peaceful creature grazing quietly at the high-altitude Nainital Zoo. What a magnificent sight to witness!
Stretch Your Spine!
Yoga says that a stretched spine refreshes you thoroughly. And let this beautiful lass show you how in style!
