There is a strange charm to the Karate Kid movies that I grew up watching. While the 2010 Jackie Chan-Jaden Smith version is not on my list of favorites, I did want to go to Okinawa like Daniel did in the original Karate Kid 2. While Mr Miyagi, the handy man is short, quiet and grumpy for most of the movie, there is one scene where he gets piss drunk and remembers his time with his dead wife.
