These typical Indian confectioneries are made from  fruit-flavored jellies and coated in fine sugar crystals. As kids, we believed that these are made only in the Lonavala or Mahabaleshwar hill stations in Maharashtra. The former is popular for chikkis (brittle) in various flavors, fudges and jellies; and the latter is known for strawberries, mountain carrots, jams, squashes, and jellies. How I crave some of these right now!
