A few days ago my mom and I decided to eat at a place that offers thali (full meals as opposed to buffet and à la carte menus). Instead of going to pick out food, you are served right at your table. This plate has rotis, puran polis, green chutney, ketchup, mango pickle, salad, dhokla, farsan, dahi kadhi, sweet daal, two gravy and a couple of dry veggies, chaas, and papad. Trust me we had no place left for any more food!

Oh, does that look delicious! I find with Indian food, with thalis especially when I can find somewhere to have them —
the plates all look small, but they eat BIG, so that I often can’t finish everything.
