Of Courage, Valor and Sacrifices

After quite a while, I am all set to take you back to the oldest statue at the Charles Bridge in Prague, the statue of St. John of Nepomuk. While one side of the base shows his loyal dog,  the other side depicts the confession of Queen Johanna and the saint’s death. The saint was thrown off the bridge where he drowned to his death. The rest, as they say, is history!
