I rediscovered my photo album from Jaipur, and here are a few gems. The monument here is from the Amer Palace in the lovely Pink City in Rajasthan. This is where the Kings would collect Laagan or taxes from the commoners, who were mostly peasants. The place is often used to film Bollywood movies, with a popular song called Mere Dholna from a hit Bollywood film Bhul Bhuliya. Quite a fascinating place, which has been well-preserved too.
