Going Retro

When we were growing up, the slate was a simple and effective way to teach and learn. It was our first lesson in going green. Parked in the corner was a old school scooter. A lovely reminder of a time well spent had to be a monochrome shot. What do you think?

Believe it or not, when I was teaching we still used blackboards (this was only two years ago)… When most of the teachers began complaining about sinus problems because of the bad-quality chalk they upgraded us to whiteboards… Ha… The photo just wouldn’t have been as effective in colour.

  5. Monochrome works for me in this one. I’m not a great fan of B+W images, we see in colour so why not show an image in all it’s glory. But for me this sort of works

Nice B&W – scooters like that continue in production with minor styling differences, but the blackboard is definitely an endangered species 😉
