Surprise!

As we embark on a new Tamil New Year as per the solar calendar, nothing I had describes the new year better. The kitty represents all good things we look forward to; a new life, new beginning, exploring the unknown, experiencing new things, and bringing joy to those who shower us with affection, and basking…

Fishes

I believe these are shark fishes, but I could be wrong. If you know the type of the fishes, please do correct me too.

Look Before You Leap…

As kids, the world is a new space to explore. But pain is just as real and with a few bitter experiences, you tend to become cautious. Same goes with animals, they are no different from us now, are they?

Stepping Towards Success

I found these two adorable little pups loitering near my building. Although I don’t know their breed, they were extremely  loving and adorable. Unfortunately, despite timely care  they did not survive for long…

Weekly Photo Challenge: Abundance 2

Ducks

Although Karla doesn’t really have too much to see baring the Karla Caves, the MTDC situated there features a lake. Sadly Lonavala is a monsoon destination and boat rides on the lake are closed. But you can play with these pretty ducks that grace the lake even during a down pour!

Camels

While Camels are a regular feature in the arid regions of country like Rajasthan and Gujarat, it was quite rare to find them atop the Panchgani Tablelands, which is a popular hill station. What makes this picture so compelling is the way the camels are resting with their mahout on the center.

Monkeys

Nestled between the Louisa Point and Coronation Points at the hill station Matheran, at Maharashtra is the famous Monkey Point. Most hill stations in the region are home to these species and they are not only naught but very adorable too. But be careful while using the flash on your camera, or handling equipments, they…
