I love a good read, and after using up all my other red inspirations, I decided to look for some ‘red’ literature. I am no communist, but one thing I did notice was most of the red, marron pink colored books, all dealt with either love, or crime. I guess we all thrive on extremism!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Wildlife 3
Our first trip as man and wife was quite successful for many reasons. And one of them was the natural bliss that I hadn’t experienced as city dweller. I captured these horses grazing at a luscious green hill-side en-route the snow-clad Rohtang pass, which opens for public only for a short duration between June to October every year.

We got to see this beautiful Himalayan Bear at the Nainital Zoo, which is one of the high altitude zoo’s in the world. What I like best about the zoo is how they have clubbed CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) with conservation of wild life: Major corporate houses take responsibility to take care of the food and health of the animals. Cruelty with a heart?…

Weekly Photo Challenge: Lines 2
The King who built the main residential City Palace at Udaipur, was a lover of practical jokes. What is seen in the picture is not a mirror image but an actual passage way that leads you to the other end of the room. Quite a lateral thinker, and an amazing illusion I must say!
