A Fervent Salute

Times have moved from being testing to exhausting. What started as an exuberantly urgent phase of normalizing the world has now made us either crippled us with panic and fear or becoming completely oblivious to everything around, You can see that with weary cops, government officials, health officials and those who helped all of this come together.

People pay the doctor for his trouble; for his kindness they still remain in his debt.

As an unwarranted economic downturn was piled on us, we are now witnessing panic of the next stage. Businesses that can milk the situation have descended as vultures. Viral rate cards of hospitals, and airline tickets are putting us into a second wave of shock. Yet, the reality on the grass root level is very different. News of Doctors and Nurses going on strike to get paid, and pilots being asked to risk flier safety and be unpaid to save a few quick bucks also surfaces periodically.

The intellect always cuts and divides like a pair of scissors. The heart sews things together and unites like a needle. The tailor uses both.

Despite all of this, we have the people cooking for those who are penniless, saving lives as much as they can and tailors creating the required safety PPEs and masks. Those who are lucky, get access to these when needed the most!

A good cook is like a sorceress who dispenses happiness.
