Auto rickshaws are integral part of the suburban Mumbai landscape. I have met several rickshaw drivers, while some are downright rude and unsympathetic, most of the ones I have dealt with are nice and realize that you need to journey on through the crowded public transportation system in the city. So I think its time for me to thank those nice people because of whom I end up catching my regular local train on time everyday for almost 11 years now! Too bad they won’t read this post though.
I think the worst Rickshaw wallahs from Mumbai are better than the best ones from Bengaluru or Chennai!

I got my regulars really, and I guess I am just a friendly person (although a person actually asked me if I was talkative as opposed to being friendly!) But ya Delhi tops the cake anyday in being the worse rickwala collection ever!

I bet you are a very friendly person —
and it is too bad that the people who would appreciate this won’t get to see it.

Actually Judith we are extra courteous people, and make it a point to say and mean our thanks, sorries and pleases, so these nice people are no so oblivious to hoiw I feel after all:-)
